The Stories and Legends will come out of the history, environment or people of select national parks around the U.S. The parks we visit will include those very popular or very large, others of modest scale or less prominent, both wild and urban. The stories may be fictional legends or significant events in the timeline of our country. They may be mysterious or moving, light hearted or tragic.

We are encouraging public radio stations from around the country to air these segments, so expect to hear engaging interviews, interesting narration and high-level recordings. Our talented team will weave a soundscape that immerses you in compelling storytelling. The productions will feature commissioned original music to enhance your experience. Check back here for frequent blog updates. You can also subscribe to receive email notices of new posts. Look for photos of our travels and video content that provides additional background from behind the scenes.

This project is a joint production of Jeff Allen Radio Productions and Montgomery County Community College in Blue Bell, PA. It will involve student-intern writers, sound, and video engineers who will work alongside our team of professionals. As such, it provides an excellent educational opportunity for the students in a real world environment.
